Message subject, I am not convinced that I want to get 245's up front again or if I will stay with 9" wheels up front.

Who knows why tire rack does or doesnt do anything, much less what say Luke has in any of it, so that seems irrelevant to me, but I can certainly see getting a chuckle out of it as it is definitely silly.

What width wheel were the 275's on? I thought the tire being stretched and to what extent it is stretched on the wheel was a bigger cause for tramming/rut-steering than just tire width alone. If he had 275's up front on 9" wheels wouldnt there be enough sidewall deflection to inhibit tramming? The 275's on my 9" rears certainly stick out beyond the lips, and the rear feels a bit floaty to me momentarily before the tires actually bite.

It could very well be my imagination though, but I feel pretty confident of my assessment since my last Z was very tight and crisp in transitions, on narrower wheels.
